James Curtis is the last minute 35p signing for The Machines - he leaves the Boca Seniors having not played a single game for the FX outfit. At the press conference at Alain van West's desk Curtis stated:

"Many thanks, it has always been my ambition to play for Alain, as a boy I always supported this team and cannot wait to make my debut in front of the home fans"

He failed to mention how gutted he was not to be signing for the ALLSTARS, but his wavering voice, fighting back the tears said it all. Alain closed the conference by starting that he hoped very much that the 35p Boost Bar trade-in for the player would be worthwhile, he once traded a Twix for David Kettle and was left sorely disappointed.

Remember all transfers are free (usually -1 point) until the last of the first round games are played. People can join a team at any time if they are not allocated beforehand. Transfers are defined as, 'the movement of a player, already allocated to a team, to another team after the first round of games have been played'.
